Now that people have had a day to digest Michael Cohen’s testimony, it’s possible to put together a working list of questions that congressional investigators should pursue. These questions revolve mostly around Trump’s business dealings with Russia and his attempts to hide information from the public and from investigators. Did Jay Sekulow, a Trump lawyer, and Abbe Lowell, who represents Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, review and edit Cohen’s false testimony about Trump’s business dealings in Russia? Did Donald Trump Jr. confer with his father about the June 2016 Trump Tower meeting with several Russians? Did Trump lie about his taxes being under audit as an excuse to avoid releasing his tax returns?
